Members of DePaul University's Doctor Who Club will discuss the representation of marginalized identities across Doctor Who, especially from a modern perspective. We represent a diverse range of voices who will speak on race, gender, sexuality, disability, neurodivergence, immigration, and more. As young fans, we are able to view the show through a modern lens and consider it in relation to current issues and trends in representation. We will take a close look at the narrative ways that episodes engage with marginalized identities. We are interested both in celebrating successful examples of representation and unpacking more complicated examples. A presentation of the DePaul University Doctor Who Club.

Done right, spinoffs can really transcend their perceived status as the 'second feature' and craft their own lasting legacies, as we certainly feel SJA and TW have done. “inDoctornated” invites audiences to reflect on the influence of media, the evolution of personal dreams, and the profound connections that unite us all in our quest for purpose and fulfillment.
