In mid-1984, an idea was hatched to open a Doctor Who retail store in Chicago that served the fans exclusively, and in November of that year, Bundles from Britain was launched. After adding key partners and having great success at TARDIS 22 in 1985, the business went on and on. Through it can be traced the origins of the creation of Chicago TARDIS.
