There's a new Doctor Who spinoff series coming soon - "The War Between the Land and the Sea" - featuring the Sea Devils and UNIT, created by Russell T Davies, who also created past spinoffs The Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood. Done right, spinoffs can really transcend their perceived status as the 'second feature' and craft their own lasting legacies, as we certainly feel SJA and TW have done. We will discuss these shows (including K-9 The Series and Class too) and all that is great about them, and talk a bit about the upcoming show as well.
